EDDISON team developed the pavilion of Sakhalin Oblast for the Far East Street festival at Eastern Economic Forum.
The Sakhalin pavilion “Fish Island” was one of the most visited at the Far East Street festival. "Fish Island" was of impressive size: 20 meters in length, 10 in width, and up to 8 meters in height. The choice of construction design for the pavilion of Sakhalin Oblast was determined by a special attitude of the islanders to fishing. For so many of them, this is their favorite pastime, and for indigenous peoples, this is also an important part of culture and everyday life. Inside the pavilion, in the area located at the entrance, the museum guide introduced the guests to the region. Next was the tourist area, where visitors could buy discounted package tours to 50 developed Sakhalin locations and routes, including those for children. The visitors could take pictures against the artificial snowdrift or spectacular mountain slopes of the island, wearing sports equipment. And then, using a 3D helmet, immerse themselves in a virtual tour of the snowy Gorny Vozdukh Ski Resort.
