Before the beginning of Eastern Economic Forum, we held the official Cornerstone Ceremony at the site of the future curling center.
Among the participants of the official ceremony were Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, Minister of Sports Pavel Kolobkov and President of the Curling Federation Dmitry Svishchev. Athletes of the Russian national curling team Anastasia Moskalyova and Alexander Eremin read the message to the future generations, after which the message was put in a time capsule and laid together with the stone. In the future, the site will be available not only to professional athletes, but also to amateur beginners.
