EDDISON agency prepared the pavilion for the first World Amateur Go Championship.
The game brought together amateurs and Russian and foreign businesspeople and politicians who took part in a friendly match, planned for them. Go is the oldest and most complex strategy game in the world. The game owes its popularity and promotion to China, and its name, by which it is known throughout the world, – to Japan: in Japanese Go means “surround with stones”. The essence of the game is to surround the territory of the opponent and expand the borders of your state.
