For the second year in a row, EDDISON team has been the developer of the pavilion of Sakhalin Oblast at the Far East Street of Eastern Economic Forum.
In 2018, Sakhalin Oblast pavilion was the best among the expositions of the Far Eastern regions. This year, the guests were presented with its improved version in the form of two giant waves surging towards each other. One of the waves was stylized as a sailboat, and a gray whale was “diving” into the second. The choice of this marine animal was not accidental: the population of gray whales lives in the Sea of Okhotsk, on the shelf of northeastern Sakhalin, and is listed in the Red Book of Russia. Several zones, dedicated to economy and investments, tourism and leisure, were planned inside the pavilion, and there was a separate zone, devoted to the oil and gas complex. This design was supported by a reduced model of a gas carrier on the lake near the pavilion.
